Sweet, simple, cheerful!

I was so sad when Weightbot by Tapbots disappeared. Im less heartbroken now. This is much glossier, with more features, and it syncs via Apple Health to my Withings scale. A well built app with features I didnt know I wanted.

This Was What I Was Looking For

I just wanted to track my weight loss without it being complicated. I didnt need to count my calories, calculate my BMI, track my exercise or anything else. This app is perfect for me. I told it what I weighed and what I wanted to weigh, as well as how many pounds a week I thought I would have the willpower to lose. Now the app only needs me to enter my weight each time I weigh myself and it does the calculations for me. I asked it to set ten mini-goals along the way, to encourage me to keep going. I can look back over my record to see how far Ive come and because the app calculates changes over several days, the daily ups and downs are smoothed out and dont depress me. I like what it does and Ive lost eight pounds so far.

Support is first class

I am along time user and have been very happy with the app. Recently I had an IPad failure and my iTunes backup was not very successful. I needed to reinstall Happy Scale but when I did my Dropbox synchronization it left me with no historical data. Russ the program developer went out of his way to find the cause and help me get my data back successfully.

Deluxe too costly

This app is great, but the deluxe edition is way too expensive. On any other app, the features that you get with the deluxe edition of this app would be free. Lower the price to $1.99 or $2.99 (just make it $1.99) and Ill purchase it.

4.99 to sync, overpriced

It is 4.99 for "deluxe" version where you have the ability to synchronize health data. Overpriced for that ability. I will just keep track myself in excel. I mean seriously, why are all these apps charging just to give permission to access data I am already able to keep track of.

Great app! (Only ask would be to add body fat % measurement)

Great app-- just what I was looking for, with focus on rolling averages to minimize the random noise. One feature request: could you add a second graph to track body fat percentage? My scale measures both, and I would love to be able to track BF% the same way the app tracks weight. I would pay extra for this feature.

Easy and intuitive

Great to be able to take the long view on weight loss. Like the charts and layout; I dont use the predictor but I can see where more competitive types would. A space for personal notes on a day or trend would be helpful.

This app is great! It is so encouraging to see the progress and not get distracted by the little speed bumps along the journey. Love this easy to use and user friendly app. Glad I got this. Love, love, love it!!

Starting a journey to a healthier weight. This app has helped me stay on track and encouraged. For being free, there are so many features!

Great weight app

Still using the free version but this has been surprisingly helpful in sustaining my motivation. I quickly realised that my memory was not great for remembering what I weighed and when. Having stats = good.

Super fun, encouraging and simple

I love this app for simply being simple and then putting the most positive spin ever on maintaining or losing weight.

Cute app!

It helps me break my goals into manageable chunks. Seems to be working well! With the integration with Apple health and MFP was a little smoother, but its decent. Wish list: alerts for every morning! Its easy enough for me, though, because Ive set a habit of weighing first thing in the AM.

Great predictions motivator!

When Im grappling with temptations, I open the app and admire the predictions section. Based on what is happening, I can predict when Ill hit my next ten pound group. Hitting 150 is swell, but with Happy Scale, I can input 149.99 which tells me when I will hit the 140s". Now seeing that is exciting beyond all! Ive asked the good folks at Happy Scale to allow users to input two more of our personal preferred weights. If I could also see when Ill hit the 130s, and the 120s, Ive got something even more motivational going for me. Seeing numbers like those with the dates by which Ill arrive there makes getting there all the more exciting not to mention it makes temptation all the more resistable! Not entirely, but enough to continue a calculable rate of decline in weight, which is the point. I havent been excited about the weight loss process in two decades. Happy Scale has made the process thrilling and exciting! July update: Ive logged enough daily weights to establish a true pattern of weight loss. I changed my "Commitment" Rate to my actual "Overall" Rate. I can finally breathe! What good is setting a commitment that you cant meet and giving up on yourself in disgust? What good is feeling deprived only to have the weight pile back on within a week of giving in to the thinking, "I just want to eat and drink normal again!"? It doesnt have to be that way if you find a way that you CAN live with and STILL lose weight. My commitment rate was 1.2, figuring that would be more realistic than going for the max 1.5 rate for fat loss. My actual Overall Rate was .36. I changed my commitment to what I was actually accomplishing and suddenly Im happy AND more committed again. Better yet, my Overall Rate has continued to climb. Im now at .38. Even better yet, my current rate has climbed to .98 - now THAT is encouraging! So I wont lose as fast. At 62, time flies. It will be this time next year before I know it. But now, with Happy Scale, Ill also weigh less this time next year, and the year after, and the year after, and Ill have enjoyed the weight loss journey!

Exactly what Ive been searching for!

I love this app so freaking much. It shows your progress, predictions, and breaks your major goal down into milestones. It helps me to visualize my goals and progress making the end goal not seem so daunting. It smooths out your progress graph making it easier to see that youre still making progress even when you have small set backs. Absolutely recommended! Ive found this app very encouraging and motivating.

I love the charts, graphs, and predictions. The milestone markers are the best and make each milestone of weight loss hit feel like a huge accomplishment.

This is a very simple way to track weight progress without the added calorie counter or exercise component.

So far so good!

Weight fluctuations are normal in loosing weight but can be discouraging for someone if they see their progress jumping up and down like a Richter scale. Happy scale better puts your weight loss into perspective so you see the overall big picture. I like how it gives you an option to set goals and such.

Best weight tracking app out there

The moving average teaching system is by far the best way to track your weight. I thought the little things that you tap to activate were cheesy at first, but its quite rewarding to see them spin around to your new weight. One change I would like to see is the ability to reorder the charts, so that I can put the line graph at the top.
